JoAnn's Story

Individual results may vary.

I USED TO THINK:

When pills alone weren't giving me the control I needed, I thought I had done something wrong. And insulin was my punishment.

NOW I THINK:

After adding insulin to my treatment plan, which includes pills, I saw signs of success. I got better control and lower A1C scores. And taking insulin doesn't stop the music--I still dance to my own tune.

MY ADVICE:

You want to get your blood sugar under control? Talk to your doctor about whether insulin is right for you. After I did, I thought, "Why on earth didn't I start this sooner?"
